My (Family) Black History In Lloydminster

Thank you Lloydminster Museum + Archives for hosting the Black History in Canada: Lived Experiences and Stories Untold evening last night! It was a pleasure to share my Charles family’s story to such open, positive and supportive residents and friends.
Along with Angela, my aim was to shed light on the diversity of stories and experiences Black Canadians so that deeper and more compassionate connections are made.
Mission accomplished!Thank you to all who came to support and learn - you are the seeds to more welcoming, inclusive, vibrant city. 
The Black History Month exhibit is on until February 28th.
